LATE ASSIGNMENTS: In accordance with the High School Student Handbook, no late homework will be accepted; however, to allow for the time a student may forget his/her homework, at the end of each quarter the lowest homework score for each student will be dropped. Projects and essays are due at the beginning of class. If a student is going to be absent or late coming to class on the day the assignment is due, the project should be brought to school by someone else or emailed to me as a Word document attachment by 8:00 a.m. that morning. If a student is present for school but will miss class due to an appointment or sporting event, he/she should make arrangements with me to make up the assignment prior to the due date.
DISCIPLINE PLAN: Discipline is the process of teaching and training students in expected behaviors. Acts of inappropriate conduct as outlined in the High School Student Handbook will result in consequences for the student in accordance with that handbook.
PLAGIARISM: The act of plagiarism is in violation of the ethical standards of Calvary Baptist Day School, the rules and regulations of the High School Student Handbook, and the law. Plagiarism is defined as the using of words or work of another as your own. If a student copies more than three words consecutively, the date, or even the ideas of another without giving credit to that individual in an appropriate citation, that student has plagiarized and will be subject to discipline as set forth in the High School Student Handbook.
